Winter Hibernation

Steady yourselves, fellow travelers! Redwood Hostel is going into a Winter Mini-Hibernation. Between November and February, everything slows down in these parts. People begin to walk slower than usual, and they talk slower too, or not much at all. They’re busy listening to rain. Hostellers don’t like the rain as much as us locals, though, and not so many are passing through Redwood Hostel these days. That’s okay. It’s a good time to rest.

So the hostel will be open only on Thursday-Sunday nights in December, closed completely in January, and open Thursday-Sunday in February. Christmas week is an exception: we’re open December 21 – January 1. Someone must have gotten the word out, however, because the hostel is nearly booked for the holidays. So call us. Or come on by. And remember to bring your raincoat.
